What He Did

With his Reivers ride in the bag, Paul Bannerman had become a fully fledged Consett Clown, and to add another stupid thing to his already impressive list of achievements, he got it into his head to do the W2W in a day, despite tales of woe from the 2007 event.

Having already managed the C2C in one day last year, he broke out the graph paper and Ordnance Survey maps and plotted out the 151 miles of track. Returning for a second year, Graeme D operated as support driver and official photographer, carrying supplies and providing moral support at various stop-off points during the day.
