The C2C is a 140 mile cycle route across the North of England from the West coast to the East coast, taking in all types of terrain across the beautiful countryside of the Lake District, Pennines and Durham Dales. The C2C Guide shows the route is made up of the following terrains:

  Main Roads - mainly short sections thru urban areas - 4%
  Minor Roads - quiet, country roads - 50%
  Cyclepaths / Off Road - disused railway lines etc - 46%
