6 Months / 3 Days Day Zero - Thursday 18th June 2009Consett to Edinburgh, in the lashing rain. Rain, why did it have to be rain... Day One - Friday 19th June 2009 Edinburgh to St Boswells, 65 miles of hills in mediocre weather with pretty much every mishap you can get. Additional 5 miles to start of route via a bike shop. Ascent: 4,915 feet Descent: 4,833 feet [Day Two] - Saturday 20th June 2009 St Boswells to Seahouses, 72 or 130 miles depending on who you are, in occasional rain, snorting maltloaf and ISO Energy. Ascent: 3,960 feet Descent: 4,220 feet [Day Three] - Sunday 21nd June 2009 Seahouses to Newcastle, 73, 89 or 91 miles depending on who you are, along the coast on rough tracks, and on to home on bike for some people. Ascent: 4,577 feet Descent: 4,468 feet
